Are millennials really that different from other generations?

Dear Mr. Millennial,

Thank you for your question. Millennials, who have the age range from 21 to 37 and account for the biggest population cohort in America, are more enlightened and diverse; however, they don’t gain much in an environment of surging inequality. Also, they don’t possess as many assets and have lower marriage rates. Although millennials aren’t that distinctive from older demographic cohorts in regards to consumption behavior, they are differentiated by their lagging economic status.
